Creating an energising yet home-like environment for pilates veterans and first-timers alike was at the core of this project for Club AMPM Pilates. Made For worked with the founders to create a space that aligned with the broad clientele of the business whilst responding innovatively to the challenges of the space.
Comprising one reformer and one mat pilates room, the considered use of materiality allowed the space to feel open yet still retain a sense of intimacy and warmth. By utilising wood grain, textured glass and purposeful feature curves, the client’s desires to imbue moments of earthiness and rawness were reflected. The warm and approachable palette combined with the humble yet refined cork flooring and skirting captured the spirit of AMPM’s welcoming and fun vision for their studio. Importantly, the space was still able to coexist as a place for Abby and Hannah’s vivacious personalities to call home.
